As a fully licensed psychotherapist (permit granted by the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec) I issue certified receipts to those with insurance for full or partial reimbursement. Since insurance policies may vary, it is important to read your policy carefully and understand the extent of your coverage.
I offer a sliding scale or reduced fee for patients with financial limitations. Payment is due at the end of each session and is payable by cash or personal cheque.
CANCELLATION
If appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled, my policy requires that patients provide me 48 hours notice. In most instances I will offer alternative days and/or times to meet. Patients may not cancel a Monday session over the weekend. Patients will be charged the full session fee for insufficient notice of a missed appointment. This policy exists due to the difficulty of filling appointments.
